Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) has officially launched the admissions cycle beginning in July 2026 for a wide range of programs in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode. Candidates are able to apply for admissions until April 30 2026 (expected date for application submission). In order to be accepted, applicants need to sign up online on MGU University’s admissions website.

How to Apply — MGU Online Admission 2026 (Step-by-Step)
- Visit the official CDOE admission portal: Go to cdoe.mgu.ac.in/admission and click “Apply Now”. Select the degree level you wish to pursue (UG or PG) and the program you wish to study.
- Complete your Personal and Academic Information: Fill in your personal details and academic credentials (10th, 12th, 10th and graduation results if appropriate). Each field is mandatory. Be sure to read them carefully before proceeding.
- Upload the required documents: Scan copies of the marksheets (10th, 12th, 11th, graduation) as well as a valid photograph ID document, passport-sized photograph, a signature and certificates of classification (if appropriate). Check that the format of the file is correct and the size, as stated by the site.
- Make payment online for the fee: Make payment of the application fee (Rs. 1,000 for general; Rs. 500 to pay for SC/ST) in addition to the semester fees using a debit or credit card, Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI using Secure Payment Gateway.
- Save and submit confirmation: Check all entries and follow by clicking “Submit”. Once the form is submitted, no changes are allowed. Save and download the application form as well as the payment receipt for later reference. MGU is able to confirm the admission through SMS or email after confirmation of the application form.
